Porcupine Lake is a film about middle school girl, Bea who falls in love with a local girl, Kate. Set in Ontario, this film deals with adolescent love tenderly and with some humor at times. Both girls look young and quite normal and this has none of the flashiness of lesbian films starring attractive adults pretending to be teenagers.
